Life at the “office.”

Sometimes Ben

Hi there, I’m Ben—videographer and storyteller.

But before anything else, I’m a husband and a dad. I’m married to my super-cool wife, and we have two daughters who keep life full and exciting. Being present for these years is my top priority.

I’ve spent a lot of time making videos. I studied video production at the University of Northwestern–St. Paul, worked at a television station in Duluth, then at a production company in the Twin Cities, and eventually the creative team at Eagle Brook Church. By the time I left Eagle Brook, I was leading a 20-person creative team—media producers, motion graphics artists, project managers, writers, and graphic designers.

After nearly fifteen years of full-time creative work, I chose to step back so I wouldn’t miss the time we have with our kids. Around then, my good friend TJ Therrien asked if I could help with shooting and editing for his social media business, so now we collaborate regularly. It keeps me sharp and busy, while still leaving plenty of time for family.

Today I’m grateful to be in a spot where I can give my best at home, create fun content with a close friend, and use my skills to help others with their creative projects. I love meeting people and helping them bring their ideas to life.

If you’re here to get to know me—welcome. And if you’ve got an idea you’re excited about, I’d love to hear it.

Why “Sometimes” Ben you ask? Well, sometimes I’m on a podcast called Disney World is Awesome. We’re a group of dads who love to talk about Disney World. You should check it out!

How Can I Help?

I’ve always had a passion for helping people. It just so happens that I make videos. So, I start with a simple question: how can I help? Whether you need your story clarified, the right people on board, beautiful footage, or a clean, polished edit, I bring calm, creative energy and handle as much—or as little—as you need.
